Since acquiring Huffington Post for $315 million, AOL has cut 20% of its jobs during the change over process. According to AOL’s Chief Executive, Tim Armstrong, 200 jobs will be cut in the US and 900 in India, mostly in AOL offices.
On Monday, AOL closed its purchase deal with The Huffington Post, a news website that carries news from external sources as well as original content of their own.
