The world has been abuzz, while anxiously awaiting the April issue of the Vogue Magazine, with the multi-faceted Rihanna. There were a couple photos that leaked on the internet from the shoot a couple days before it was officially released today, however proving to be only a small fraction of what readers were to expect from the actual issue.
In the article, Rihanna said, ” she loves her curves, even though her body is not perfect.” The behind-the-scenes video of Rihanna’s Photoshoot was captured, where she speaks to Vogue Diaries, about her experience, living the life of a ‘supermodel’, something she always dreamed of. Throughout the entire interview, she seemd to have been SO humbled and honored by this experience.
She spoke about her deep passion for Fashion, and with much vibrance said, “When I moved to America, that’s when I got head versed into Fashion..it was like a kid in a candy store, I can’t get enough of it…I still can’t. She also went on to say she loves clothing that ‘accentuates the waist and makes it very little’ and on women accepting their bodies and how she manages to stay in shape.
Near the end of the video, we see a side of Rihanna that was very heartwarming. In her cute island accent, and with admirable humility she said, “I had so much fun today….Thank you for putting me on the cover for American Vogue..this is it, it doesnt get any bigger than this’. I disagree somewhat, because at the rate she is going, there is NO stopping this humble, multi-talented bajan beauty Riri!
For some time now, First Lady Michelle Obama has been focused on various campaigns geared towards fighting Child Obesity, and has now added some extra entertainment for the kiddies, by teaming up with Pop Megastar Beyonce, in her new effort, ‘Let’s Move’.
Mrs Obama has selected Beyonce as the official face for this campaign, which aims to ‘solve the epidemic of obesity within a generation.’ The ‘Let’s Move’ program incorporates dance, as a way of encouraging kids to keep fit and in a fun way.
Knowles popular song, ‘Get me bodied’, has been re-recorded into a song, ‘Move your Body’ with simplified, ‘kid-friendly’ dance moves for the young ones….The popstar sings while instructing kids how to move/dance to the song, which includes moves from various genres …..
Of course, I must mention a little dancehall is included, the Pop Diva sings, “Everybody won’t you move your body, move your body…I’m ah break it down, step and touch to the Dancehall sound..”
Now, this is what you call a P-O-W-E-R move, something tells me the adults will be getting in on this as well….The public can visit the official website to get further details on this empowering and relevant campaign.

The divas duked it out on Friday night as Ciara and Rihanna got into a feisty Twitter exchange that had the Internet buzzing.
CiCi appeared as a guest judge on E!’s “Fashion Police” earlier in the evening. When a photo of Rihanna at the BRIT Awards was shown on screen, she commented, “I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn’t the nicest and it’s crazy because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done with fashion. I’ve ran into her before, but this time it wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”
Host Joan Rivers chimed in by saying, “A bitch!” before Ciara told her with a laugh, “You crazy.”
Rihanna was tuned in to the television because she responded on Twitter shortly after the episode aired. “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme,” she wrote before Ciara shot back, “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.”
“U gangsta huh? Haaa,” laughed the “S&M” singer. “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”
But the ladies settled their differences soon after. “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup,” said RiRi.
Ciara agreed to put it behind them, telling her peer, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.”
Beyonce, 50 Cent, Usher amongst other popstars have all recently been criticized for performing at a Libyan function, under the Gaddafi regime.
According to CNN sources, the popstars have all received huge sums of money for their performances, and since the knowledge of the Middle East uprising and heartless protests, some have opted to donate their payments, considering what they have learned.

Charlie Sheen may or may not be “winning,” in life, but he has won a rare honor: the “Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers” Guinness World Record.
Guinness community manager Dan Barrett says the agency “just researched and approved” the record this morning. According to Barrett, Sheen reached that milestone in 25 hours and 17 minutes.
As of this writing, Sheen’s Twitter account, @CharlieSheen, has more than 1.3 million followers.
Guinness did not have a previous record for that category, Barrett says. Sheen also set a Guinness record for “Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode — Current” at $1.25 million.
Sheen joined Twitter March 1. In a matter of minutes, Sheen acquired more than 60,000 followers and a Klout score of 57 — without even tweeting. According to a report in report in Advertising Age, Sheen was able to get his account verified so quickly because Internet startup Ad.ly brokered his account with Twitter.
Sheen, of course, has been all over the news since he publicly disparaged Chuck Lorre, producer of Sheen’s successful sitcom “Two and a Half Men” in a bizarre interview with Alex Jones of InfoWars last month.
Since then, Sheen has been interviewed by various other high-profile outlets making equally odd statements. The public meltdown has made Sheen a continual trending topic on Twitter and the subject of several several YouTube parodies.
For Guinness, this is the second high-profile application of the brand’s records system to social media. Last month, the Nabisco cookie brand Oreo and rapper Lil Wayne squared off for the record for the most Facebook likes. Lil Wayne won that contest handily.
