NEW!! Pics: Bobby Brown issues official statement explaining why he walked out of Whitney’s funeral

by Natalie Monique
New Jersey.com sources reported that Bobby Brown, ex-husband of Whitney Houston left the New Hope Baptist Church, Newark, New Jersey just minutes before the funeral began.

According to our sources, Bobby Brown was allowed to take two guest but instead turned up with nine, and was asked to move seats three times. He decided to leave the funeral, kissed Whitney’s casket and departed.

Despite the various stories surfacing that he was asked to leave and so forth, ABC News says an official statement was released through Brown’s representatives:

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.

I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and noone else to move. Security then prevented me from seeing my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are distraught over the events. This is a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respect to my ex-wife the best I know how”

Reverend Al Sharpton wrote on his Twitter: I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney! Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston were married for 14 years, parents of Bobbi-Kristina; a union that eventually ended due to constant rivalry, highly publicized through the Media.

RIP to a beautiful Musical legend, Miss Whitney Houston!
