It is being reported that Music Mogul, Entrepreneur and new Director of the soon-to-be-opened $4.9 billion Sports Arena, Barclays Center (home of his Brooklyn Nets NBA team) has even bigger plans for Brooklyn.
He plans to open another 40/40 Club in the Atlantic Avenue Center, which is set to open on September 28, 2012, with a huge Jay Z concert as the launch.
Check this out though…Daily News reports that the Arena will not be allowing Bottle service of hard liquors in 40/40 or any of the other Bars or Restaurants in the Arena. ‘Bottle-popping’ is something most high end nightclubs are known for and a staple feature of the prestigious 40/40, Nets fans cant be too happy with this, lol.
The developers of the Arena say bottle of Champagne and Wine will however be allowed. This move they say follows the recent altercation between popular artistes Chris Brown and Drake in the WiP nightclub in Soho, New York where eight persons were left injured. Neighbors presented a petition preventing the club from selling alcohol beyond 10pm, despite their request for alcohol sale up to an hour after the last game (2am).
Regardless, I still say, Stand up….this is a good look for BK!
