LOL! WATCH: Comedian Oliver Samuels recounts his own experience with Chikungunya

Popular Jamaican international comedian, Oliver Samuels, recently spoke at an event in Belgium, to raise funds for the restoration of the Ward Theater, in Kingston Jamaica.

We bumped into this video online and had to share…and based on its content, it seems Maas Oliver despite the formal scene, was in his usual element, the same witty, hilarious, engaging Oliver many have grown and come to love.

It is even more amazing, how easily the Award winning comedian is able to switch from ‘proper to patois’ and back, with little effort…showing his expertise at entertaining persons regardless of cultural background. Check out the video below:

Dancehall artiste Mr. Lexx has released a Music Video for his popular single, ‘Rugu Rugu’.

The visuals are hilarious, a real example of the popular Caribbean phrase, ‘Sometimes you have to take serious ting make joke.’LOL

Mr. Lexx displays his usual gimmicks, using a comedic style to bring across an anti-violence message. The video was directed by Terminal 4 Media…Love it, check it out (below):

Incorporating eclectic fashion and style….the original, unique Award-winning Jamaican Dub Poetry group No-Maddz, have been creating waves local and abroad, spreading positive messages in a comedic, unique yet truly thought-provoking way.

On the heels of the upcoming Jamaica 50th (August 6, 1962) Independence Anniversary celebrations, the 4-member team have released a very befitting piece in contribution to the historic moment, ‘Sort Out Yuh Life Jamaica’ which also headstarts an upcoming islandwide campaign with the same message. The song aims at encouraging upward mobility, through unified nation building, and of course a splash of fun while doing it:)

The Music Video is directed by Jamaican Video Director Mykal Cushnie and produced by Nomaddic Movement.
