NEW!! Music Video: Reggae artiste Junior Kelly is back with ‘Been There’

by Natalie Monique

Havent heard Junior Kelly in a little while now, and he is back with another big tune, ‘Been There’, produced by Big Bomb Entertainment. Kelly is popular for hit tunes such as, Too Late‘ ft Queen Ifrica, ‘Love So Nice’, ‘Blaze‘, ‘Missing You‘ ft. Barbee, ‘Receive‘.

The song contains very simple, yet cutting edge lyrics, reaching out to those who have been through hard times, a real ‘he who knows it feels it’ kinda vibe. Definitely a tune, many will be able to relate to, talking about the struggles of life, a survival of the fittest He sings, ‘Have you been, been been..the hunger, the pressure the pain, the hate…Have you been, been, been, the fall the rise, the tears I cried…’

Just as the song, the concept in the Gad Savage directed video is quite befitting, very simple yet deep and textured. We see Junior Kelly as a cab driver, seemingly narrating the thoughts of a man he is transporting, who has apparently just left the lockup….love it!! Check it out:
