CONCERT SERIES: ‘Live From Kingston’ kicks off this Saturday with Chronixx, Keida and more…

I and I Worldwide presents ‘LIVE FROM KINGSTON’, a series of live concerts begins this weekend in Jamaica at Base Kingston and Belle in Upper Manor Park, 7pm…Saturday, November 17th, 2012. NO COVER CHARGE.

Kingston will come alive with this one-of-a-kind outdoors show, and will showcase a number of talented, young Reggae artistes Chronixx, Keida, Blu Kid and Iba Mahr in LIVE intimate performance.

We love this vibe for the Capital, bring it onnnn…creative possibilities and energy always endless in natural, live musical settings.

Christmas is almost here! Greetings Across The World TV Show has began filming…

If you are from Jamaica, Jamaican and living abroad or have friends and family from Jamaica, you may already be familiar with the Television program, ‘Greetings Across The World’.

GATW is one of Jamaica’s leading seasonal Television programs, which is aired during the Christmas season. Persons living in the Diaspora are able to connect with Jamaica during this festive season, especially those who would have loved to be in the island at this time.

The program has been running for over two decades, and gives persons a chance to be seen in the spotlight, giving greetings/shout outs to friends, family and loved ones living in Jamaica. GATW is aired on TVJ, one of Jamaica’s major local television stations.

This years show started filming October 11th in London and will go right through until October 22nd. They will pass through Bristol, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester. GATW will then move onto Florida, Toronto, New York and Grand Cayman.

NEW!! Miss World 2011: CONGRATS to Miss Venezuela, Ivian Sarcos takes home the crown

Ivian Sarcos, Miss Venezuela won out of 100 other beauties from across the world, as they all competed for the title in London! Miss Philippines Gwendoline Ruais was first runner-up and Miss Puerto Rico Amanda Perez became the second runner-up.

I must add that a former Miss World 1976, Cindy Brakespeare from Jamaica was one of the judges this year…Taking the Caribbean to the World!

Special Congrats to all the Caribbean representatives this year as well….getting there was an accomplishment in itself:)

NEW!! Danielle Crosskill is the new Miss Jamaica World 2011!!

So the results are in, only minutes ago…the stunningly beautiful 25 year old, Danielle Crosskill was named Miss Jamaica World 2011, 1st and 2nd runner up respectively were, Kayla Mendes and Chantel Davis.

Danielle shone right throughout the competiiton and handled her question very well, holding her relaxed demeanour from start to finish.

The poised and charismatic Crosskill, will go on to represent Jamaica in London at the prestigious Miss World 2011 on November 6th….Congrats Danielle!!
